Adele J. Cecchino

Adele J. Cecchino, 94, of Bergenfield died on January 4, 2012. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the "Happy Housewife". She loved Bette Davis, Judy Garland and Doris Day, the music of the 60's and the classic sounds of Danny Stiles. She was especially proud of the music of her sons group "The Knickerbockers". She loved The Golden Girls television show and the Yankees. She loved walking and was always the life of the party with her dancing. Devoted wife of the late Carlo Cecchino. Beloved mother of Monica Poveromo of New Milford, John Cecchino of CanogaPark, CA, Beau and his wife Patti Cecchino of Valencia, CA, Linda Cecchino of Las Vegas, NV, Adele and her husband Frank DeMarco of Maywood and the late Cecelia Wilks. Dear sister of the late Evelyn Edwards and Randolph Wolterding. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Saturday at 10AM. Interment Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. Visiting Friday 4 to 8PM.
