Allan C. Tackel, 60, on August 28, 2008 of Dumont. Born in Weehawken, he was a Postal Administrator for Konica-Minolta, Mahwah. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of American Legion Post 1000. Beloved husband of Beverly M. Tackel (nee Simmons). Devoted father of Kristyn, Kelly and Keith Tackel and Robert Pyle. Loving son of Norma C. and the late Murry Tackel. Dear brother of Lesley George, Susan Cordero and Mark Tackel. Loving grandfather of Kasey, Kara, Connor and Justin. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont at 9:30AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
