Andrew Rocco Romanelli of Park Ridge, formerly of Bergenfield, passed away on Dec. 6, at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 21 years. Devoted father of Andrew and his wife Eleanor, Scott and his wife Angela, Traci Romanelli, Elizabeth Butler, Cathrin Lesko and her husband Joseph, Diann Butler, Catherine Marie Schlatter and her husband Ed and Allen Butler and his wife Corrine. Loving grandfather of Samantha and Rocco Romanelli; Greg Scarazzini; Shiloh Hudgins; Mary Ellen and Carly Lesko; Kayla Porcelli; Eddie, Cameron and Emily Schlatter; Morgan, Erica, Kyle and Riley Butler and great-grandfather to Mya. Dear brother of Robin Cernilglia and her husband Matt and adoring uncle to her three children. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his compassionate, generous heart and will be missed by all who knew him. He was active in coaching for over 25 years in Little League, Junior Football, P.A.L. Softball and St. John's Girls basketball and an avid Yankee and Giants fan. Andrew was employed as Warehouse Supervisor with GEA Westfalia Separator, Inc. located in Northvale, NJ for over forty years. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Friday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. . In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
