ERRICHIELLO, Anthony Sabino, known as Sam to his friends of Bergenfield passed away on February 3, 2008, at Woodcrest Center, New Milford after a short illness, He was 93. Sam was born on Mulberry Street in New York City, NY on September 15, 1914 to Adeline (Renna) and Sabino Errichiello. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, husband father, grandfather and great grandfather. Honor and respect is what drove his life. He built the legendary Fort Lee Diner and Holly's Restaurant in Hackensack. He worked extremely hard at staying in good health by swimming at the gym seven days a week since his late fifties. In his ninety's he slowed down to four days a week but in the past eight months it became too hard to get to the gym because of his spinal stenosis. He is predeceased by his wife Marie C. Errichiello who passed away in 1991. He proceeded to take care of his elder son Anthony S. Errichiello, Jr. as they lived together and took care of each other. They both needed each other. Sam is survived by his two sons; Anthony Jr. and Philip Errichiello. His grandchildren David and Darrin Errichiello and Dana Frasca. His great grandchildren Caitlyn, Hailey and Madelyn Errichiello and Samantha Frasca. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ on Friday at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church at 10 AM. Entombment with his beloved wife Marie at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson, NJ.
