LaROCCA, Anthony J. of Bergenfield died on January 21, 2013. Born in New York City, he grew up on Thompson St. in Greenwich Village. He was a retired traffic Manager for General Cocoa Co., New York, NY. An Army Air Corp. Veteran, he served in England during WWII as a member of the 94th Bomber Group. An active parishioner of St. John's Church, he was an Usher for many years. He was a member of St. John's Council #1345 K of C, Dumont and a member of the Sons of Italy. Devoted husband of the late Rose M. LaRocca. Beloved father of Nicholas and his wife Judy, Christine LaRocca-Saputo and her husband Phil and Vincent and his wife Carol. Loving grandfather of Nicholas, Justine, Jillian and Jennifer LaRocca, Michele and Michael Neilio, Vincent and Denise Saputo, Anthony, Nicole, Vincent, II and James LaRocca and great grandfather of Aydan Hagan, Dominic Kern, Gianna Saputo and Andrew Hukel. He was predeceased by his brothers Mike, Joe and Danny and his sisters Lina, Tessie, Millie and Antoinette. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 8:30am for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 9:30am followed by interment at Hackensack Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's RC Church, 29 No. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ 07621.
