Anthony T. Palmiotto

Anthony T. Palmiotto of New Milford died on June 7, 2017. He was born in Hoboken on March 9, 1922 the son of the late Lena and Nicholas Palmiotto. He was a retired Carpenter for Quality Cabinets in Dumont. An Army Veteran of WW II he was a member of the National V.F.W. and loved boats and boating activities including building his own boat. Devoted husband of the late Rose Palmiotto (nee Madero) and the late Marian Palmiotto (nee Madero). Beloved father of John Ivacic and his wife Marcella. Loving grandfather of Kelly Ivacic McCann and her husband Michael and Marcella A. Ivacic and great grandfather of Katelyn Ivacic and Jessica and Sean McCann. Dear brother and brother-in-law Angelo and Susan Palmiotto and uncle of Nick and Barbara Palmiotto and Carolee Boger. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10 AM with interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Tenafly. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
