Barbara J. Steitz

Barbara J. Steitz of Bergenfield passed away on August 16, 2015. A lifelong resident of Bergenfield, she was a retired Secretary from Parents Magazine in Bergenfield. She was a member of South Presbyterian Church for 70 years, a Deacon and Elder of the church and a member of the choir. She was also a member of the Robert Nolan Chorus and the Bergenfield Museum Society. Predeceased by her parents Chester V. and Edna E. Steitz, she is survived by a cousin Mary Beth Heckel and her husband John and many other cousins and her dear friend Dorothy Schatz. All are invited to South Presbyterian Church, 150 W. Church St., Bergenfield on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:45 AM for the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bergenfield Museum Society, PO Box 95, Bergenfield, NJ 07621.
