Bernadette Rose Alfonso, 86, on December 10, 2010 of Bergenfield. Born in Newark, she was an active parishioner of St. John's RC Church and member of the Bergenfield Golden Age Club. Beloved wife of the late George Alfonso. Devoted mother of Joy M. Kiely and her husband John. Dear sister of Ann Lubiak. Loving grandmother of Sarah Balduino and her husband Joseph and Michael Kiely. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visiting Monday 4-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ronald McDonald House.
