C.A. Gladys Blumeling

C.A. Gladys Blumeling, 97, of Bergenfield, N.J. passed away on Saturday July 18, 2009. She was born in Secaucus, N.J. Beloved Mother of Charles H. F. B1umeling, III and his wife Carol. Adored grandmother of Charles IV, Gary, Katherine, Glen and David. Cherished great grandmother of Alison, Charles V, Craig, Christopher and Michael. Mrs. Blumeling was predeceased by her husband Charles Jr., daughters D.A. Denise and D. D. Lesley, grandson Jon and great granddaughter Cynthia. She was a longtime member of South Church in Bergenfield, a member of the Woman's Association and was active in their mission work and outreach projects. She participated in the numerous activities of the Church. She was president of the Bergenfield Chapter of the AARP. She graduated with academic honors from Paterson State College and was elected to a national academic honor society. She taught a special Federal antipoverty program, a class that was between Kindergarten and First Grade in the City of Hackensack. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, at 10:30 AM in South Presbyterian Church, 175 West Church Street, Bergenfield, N. J. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery within the family plot. Friends may call on Wednesday 2 - 4, and 7 - 9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N. J.
