Carl A. Boecherer

Carl A. Boecherer of New Milford, a former Bergenfield Police Lieutenant retiring in 1979 after 25 yrs. of service died on December 12, 2007 at the age of 81. Born in Germany the son of the late Jack and Henrietta Boecherer, he was a Navy Veteran of WWII in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. Surviving are his son, Tracey of Morristown, granddaughters Kim Bradley Hill of Parsippany and Freda Boecherer of New Milford and great granddaughters Samantha and Samone DeFreese of New Milford. His daughters Karla and Jackie predeceased him. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Monday at 10AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Sunday 4-8PM.
