Born in Jersey City, he was a Boilermaker for the Department of Transportation, New York, NY and prior with the New York City Board of Education and a member of Boilermaker's Union Local #5, New York, NY. Devoted husband of Carol A. Silvestri. Beloved father of Patrick C. Silvestri and his wife Doris and Stephanie Silvestri and her companion Galo Balseca. Loving grandfather of Hazel and Max Balseca and Liam Silvestri. Dear brother of Reggie Lentz, Patricia Castellano and Richard Silvestri. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Monday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Sunday 4-8PM.
