Cecilia M. Jacobson

Cecilia Jacobson went home to the lord on April 23, 2017. She was born to the late Anna (Mc Avoy) and James Nicholas. Ceil leaves her three beloved children, Beth Barrett and her husband Steve, Diane Borie and her husband Andre, and Tom Jacobson and his wife Jackie as well as six cherished grandchildren, Megan, Amanda, Amy & Kevin Kohlsaat, Allison Barrett, and Alexa Jacobson. Ceil also leaves a sister, Joan Scirocco. Ceil was predeceased by her sister, Carol Derringer. She also is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Ceil grew up in Cliffside Park and lived in Tenafly for over 50 years. She was a fleet manager for Stillman Automotive and Englewood Auto Group. Upon retirement she was a volunteer at Englewood Hospital and tutored adult ESL students in reading. . Visiting Tuesday 4-8PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, Cresskill at 10:30 AM. Interment Madonna Cemetery, Ft. Lee. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation alz.org.
