Charles A. Hofmann

Hofmann, Charles A. Sr. on November 19, 2008 of Bogota. Born in Pawtucket, RI, he was a Salesman for Polak Frutal Works, Middletown, NY. An Army Veteran of WWII, he was a parishioner of St. Anastasia's Church, Teaneck, a former church organist, Lector, Eucharistic Minister and a Trustee of St. Joseph's Guild, also a volunteer at Holy Name Hospital for 14 yrs. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Esposito). Devoted father of Mary Grace (and her fiancé Phil Baum), Charles Jr., Betty Buffin (and her husband the late Harry), Joe (and his wife Donna) and the late infant Mary. Dear brother of the late Joe (and his wife Mary). Loving grandfather of Charles, Kelly, Joseph and Michael. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave. Bogota on Saturday at 10:30AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Anastasia's R.C. Church, Teaneck at 11AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Rev. Jim Geaney, O'Carm. Peruvian Mission, c/o St. Anastasia's Church, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
