Clyde J. Keator, 93, of Bergenfield, NJ, died February 1, 2013 in Paramus, NJ. He was born in Kingston, NY, May 22, 1919 the son of John A. Keator and Flossie M. Barley Keator. He graduated from Ellenville High School, Ellenville, NY in 1935. He was a WWII veteran pilot completing 50 missions over fortress Europe, and was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, holding the rank of First Lieutenant. He married Winifred Rose Myatt from Philadelphia, PA on February 8, 1945. She predeceased him on May 21, 1989. He completed a very long career starting with the New York Central Railroad, ending with Conrail. He was a Brother of the Free and Accepted Masons, Stony Point Wawayanda Lodge No. 313 for over 60 years. He is survived by his daughter, Karen A. Keator and her husband Daniel P. Lindewurth of Cottekill, NY, his son John C. Keator and his wife Cheryl A. Keator of Glen, NH. Also survived by his sister, Dorothy Rudolph of Charlotte, NC. Friends may call at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ on Monday from 4-7 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM.
