Consolador Suba Lacap, 76, passed away on May 17th, 2023 at home with his family by his side.
He was born in the Philippines on February 14th, 1947, to his mother, Angelina Suba and father, Galicano Lacap.
While living in the Philippines, Consolador met an amazing and beautiful woman, Alejandra Trinidad, who soon became the true love of his life. Consolador and Alejandra got married in 1967 and remained happily married for 56 years.
Forwarding their life together to New Jersey, they had three children (two daughters and one son) named Abigail, Aimee, and Charlie. Followed by six grandchildren (two granddaughters and four grandsons) named Cayla, Caitlin, Nicholas, Xavier, Evan, and Nolan.
Anyone who met Consolador knew he was the absolute life of the party and was always the best dressed anywhere he went. He was the epitome of the perfect family man— selfless, giving, caring, and loving. He truly enjoyed socializing, gardening, watching the New York Knicks, taking care of his grandchildren, cooking, exercising/going for walks, and most of spending quality time with family. Consolador was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle, and kind friend to many.
