Daniel C. Wakefield Jr

WAKEFIELD, Daniel C., Jr., 49, of New Milford formerly Bergenfield died on May 19, 2013. Born in Passaic, he was a Maintenance Mechanic for Englewood Hospital for 29 yrs. A member and Legionnaire of Teaneck Moose Lodge #961, he loved his country, vacationing on Long Beach Island with his family, loved animals and was a great motorcyclist and NY Giants fan. Beloved former husband of Malorie Wakefield (nee Pozner). Devoted father of Rebecca Rose Wakefield. Cherished son of Judith I. and Daniel C. Wakefield, Sr. Dear brother of Jennifer Wakefield and Frank Martini. Also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9:30AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Oradell at 10:30AM. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the ASPCA at www.aspca.org.
