Dennis Michael Dineen, 67, is survived by his loving wife Christine (nee Norcia), their two sons Gregory and Barry and daughter-in-law Carmel. He was born in New York City, raised in Bergenfield and has lived in Dumont for the past 37 years. He is a graduate of Bergen Catholic High School and Fairleigh Dickinson University. An Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for heroism in combat. A member of St. Therese Parish in Cresskill, he was a member of Northern Valley Chapter #32, Disabled American Veterans, Bergenfield and American Legion Post #78 in Englewood. Visiting on Sunday 7-9 and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill at 9:30 AM. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
