Dolores Butler

Dolores Butler of Bergenfield passed away on July 21, 2024. Devoted wife of the late George Butler. Beloved mother of Gregory Butler and his wife Wendy and James Butler and his wife Maria. Loving grandmother of Brittany Lodato and her husband Michael Matthew Butler and his fiancé Stavoula Kontogianis and step grandmother of John-J and Kaitlyn. Cherished great grandmother of Carmine Lodato. Dolores was a long time administrative assistant with Tenafly Public Schools. A longtime councilwoman in Bergenfield Dolores was on the Bergenfield Rent Leveling Board, a member of the Bergen County Democratic Club, a former New Jersey Democratic Delegate and was elected into the Bergen County elected officials Hall of Fame. Dolores was also the Diamond Club President of the Seton Hall University Baseball team. Visiting Thursday 3-8 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 29 No. Washington Ave Bergenfield at 9:45 AM for the funeral mass at 10 AM. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack.
