Donald William Davis

Donald William Davis, age 86, of Bergenfield, NJ, entered into eternal life Wednesday, January 11, 2023, peacefully at home. He was born in Carbondale, Pa. and resided in Bergenfield for 61 years. Donny, a.k.a. Bunky, proudly served his country as Chief Warrant Officer 4, USA 104th Engineer Battalion, New Jersey National Guard for 40 years. Upon retiring he enjoyed his home in Bergenfield & being with his family. Don was a proud member of the Elks Club in Bergenfield for many years and was a lifelong Giants fan. Don’s favorite place to spend summers was his cherished cottage at Elk Lake in Waymart, Pa. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (née Mudrick), devoted father of Cynthia (Cindy) Hansen & Cheryl Robinson. He leaves behind five granddaughters, Monica, Jaclyn, Dana, Samantha & Cassandra & their families & great granddaughter, Luna Lucille. He will be sadly missed by all. Visitation will be Monday, January 16th at 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ 07621, followed by a blessing at 12 noon, Internment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, immediately after.
