Edith G. Stoltenborg

 Edith Genevieve Schneider Stoltenborg, also known fondly as Oma by her, GrandChildren, Great GrandChildren, and also by all who loved her, passed on December 6th.  On June 4th,1945 she married the Man that ment everything to her, John, and she was by his side until his journey's end, in 1986. A dedicated Mother to Linda, (Lin) Stoltenborg Prihoda, who's vibrant memory lives on since 2010. Lin was married to Walter Prihoda.  Edith was also a devoted Mother to Daughter Susan Stoltenborg, and Son James Stoltenborg, who is married to Joyce Casper Stoltenborg. A loving Oma to Stephen Prihoda, Wife Jennifer, Stacy Prihoda, Shawna Stoltenborg Faro, Husband Kevin Faro, John Stoltenborg, Wife Lauren Sullivan Stoltenborg, Genny LaBahn, Husband Kyle Clark, and Emily LaBahn.  Blessed Great GrandMother to Olivia and Nick Prihoda, Ryan and Nolan Faro, and John, Joseph, Liam, and Emma Stoltenborg.  Oma was an active part of all her GrandChildren's lives as they grew up.  A Parishioner of St. John's Church for over 50 years.  Known for her independence, along with her thrive for the outdoors, and love for animals.  Edith was always hands on at her Home in Bergenfield, and at the Cabin that her Husband John, aka Opa, and her Son Jim built in Gilboa, New York.  Oma would always say that she is a "Country Girl!"  Her zest and thrive for life is something that lives on with her Family.

Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Tuesday December 17th 2024 7-9 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 PM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
