Elizabeth, "Betty" Funesti of New Milford passed away on November 17, 2015. Loving wife of the late Robert Funesti. Beloved mother of Robert H. Funesti and James W. Funesti and his wife Darlene. Dear brother of William DiMeola. Cherished grandmother of Julia, James, and Joseph Funesti. She was a school teacher in Park Ridge, Elizabeth, and North Arlington NJ, she taught children of U.S Servicemen in Germany and a longtime parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Dumont. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at St. Mary's R.C. Church 280 Washington Ave Dumont on Saturday at 10:45 AM for the Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America alzfdn.org.
