Elizabeth H. McElroy

Elizabeth H. McElroy, 94, on May 17, 2010 of Teaneck. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a Secretary for Teaneck Board of Education for 18 yrs. retiring in 1989. She was a parishioner of St. Anastasia RC Church where she was a member of the church Senior Citizens and the Altar and Scapular Society. Beloved wife of the late Eugene N. McElroy. Devoted mother of Eugene N. and his wife Catherine McElroy, John J. and his wife Patricia McElroy, Mary and her husband Thomas Heckler, Robert P. and his wife Linda McElroy and Kathleen M. and her husband James Condon. Loving grandmother of Maureen Braughton, Sharon Pfeil, Colleen Crager, Jennifer Winch, Kevin McElroy, Brian Heckler, Erin Green, Melissa Ruiz, Alison Carlo, Eileen Nolan, Robert Heckler and Joel Condon and great grandmother of 18. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Friday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Anastasia R.C. Church, Teaneck at 10AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor, Bethesda, MD 20814.
