Esther Nasuto (nee Berrillo), known to most as Aunt Esther, passed away peacefully in her home on September 11th, 2024 just two weeks shy of her 111th Birthday, which was set out to be a Roaring 20's theme. She grew up in Hackensack but became a Bergenfield resident in the 1950s. Aunt Esther was a homemaker and loved to travel in her camper, garden, cook, and was always dressed up every day in her heels and make up. She survived so much in her lifetime, including beating Covid twice in what was her 2nd pandemic. She is survived by her loving niece, Annette, her two great nieces, Marie and Nancy, her loving son in law, Felipe, and her two amazing nurses aids, Houzana and Karen. She is predeceased by her son, Charles, and her husband, Tony. Whenever asked, Aunt Esther credited her secret to a long life as a supercentenarian as enjoying ice cream every night and not sweating the small stuff.
