Ethel L. Pflieger (nee Demarsico), 93, longtime resident of Bergenfield, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012. Before retiring Ethel was Owner/Broker of Bergenfield Realty. Ethel was active in her community as former President of the Bergenfield Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Bergenfield Special Improvement District and a longtime member of the Zonta Club. She was the devoted wife of the late Leo Pflieger, and also predeceased by her beloved daughter Nancy Lee Denaci and dear son Gregory. Ethel is survived by her loving daughter Kim Pflieger-Coviello and her husband Troy from Los Angeles, her devoted son Leo Pflieger Jr. and his wife Tina of Franklin Lakes, son-in-law Dan Denaci, five cherished grandchildren Gianna, Jack and Tyler Pflieger, and Michael and Danny Jr. and his wife Nicole Denaci, along with two great-grandchildren Derek and Danny Denaci. The family welcomes your company in honoring and celebrating Ethel's life on Wednesday, September 26th from 7-9pm, and Thursday, September 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield. All will meet at the funeral home on Friday at 8:30am for the Funeral Mass at the Church of the Ascension in New Milford at 9:30am followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Hackensack.
