Felicien Yves Croizer, 68, on September 19, 2007 of Bergenfield. He was born in Glomel, France on May 24, 1939. While a teenager in France he loved the Boy Scouts and made the rank of Life Scout. He served in the French Army between 1959-1961, where he stationed in No. Africa. There he taught and educated numerous orphans and kids and he regarded as a gentle man. He moved to America in 1964 and obtained employment quickly in French and American restaurants. He worked at the Gaslight Club in New York City for 10 years. He ended his career working for the Bank of New York as an Executive Chef. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking vacations. He was also an active participant in the NJ Association of Verismo Opera. He was a devoted family man and a great neighbor who was loved and admired by all who knew him. He is survived by a loving wife Yvette, a sister Anne Marie Le Crann, a brother Jean Croizer and a son Andre. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Saturday at 9:30AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Geo. Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
