Florence P. Matthews (nee McLean), 92, of Bergenfield died on October 4, 2013. Born in Bronx, NY, she was a Broker for the Christie Agency in Bergenfield until her retirement in 1992. A member of South Presbyterian Church in Bergenfield she was a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. She was also a Senior High School Advisor. Devoted wife of the late Arthur Duffy. Beloved mother of Gordon J. and his wife Diane, David B., Paul S. and his wife Stacey and Douglas S. Matthews and 10 step children. Loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 28 step-grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and 32 great step-grandchildren. Dear sister of Robert S. and his wife Dell McLean. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11AM. Interment Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton.
