Frank L. Prano passed away peacefully on Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Veterans Memorial Home in Paramus, NJ. Frank was 91 years old. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Vito and Mary Prano and moved to Bergenfield in 1963. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rosalie(nee) Corsello and 2 devoted children: a daughter Marianne and her partner Michael Paz, his son Frank and his wife Maggie Prano, and 4 grandchildren: CJ Padilla, Laura Edwards, Morgan Edwards and Matthew Prano. He has one sister Faye Musella and predeceased by 2 brothers: Angelo and Anthony and a sister Ann Criscitelli. He will also be missed by a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. Frank was a proud veteran of World War II serving in the Army Air Corp in North Africa. He was a machinist and repaired B-17s at the US Airforce base in Bahrain. All will meet at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday at 10AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 11 AM. Internment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
