Frederick D. Hall, Sr., 85, of Bergenfield died February 9, 2008. He was born November 19, 1922 in NY, NY to Henry A. and Christina (Durr) Hall, II. He worked at Bendix Corp. where he met and later married the love of his life, Dorothy H. Bischoff. He served in the US Army during WW II in the European Theatre with the Reconnaissance Co.-705th Tank Battalion and was transferred to the 63rd Signal Battalion-radio service. He was a Supervisor for AT&T, New York, NY retiring in 1984 and was a member of the AT&T Pioneers. After retirement he enjoyed his grandchildren, dogs, crossword puzzles, stamp collecting and model ship building. Predeceased by his wife Dorothy H. (nee Bischoff), surviving are his daughters, Barbara J. Hall, Beverly J. McClellan and husband Ron and Bonnie J. D'Ulisse and husband Gabe, son Frederick, Jr. and wife Barbara, grandchildren, Cassie and Molly McClellan and Tory, Gavin and Elizabeth D'Ulisse and devoted niece Dolorita Hall. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 8:30PM. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to FOCAS (Friends of the County Animal Shelter).
