Frederick N. Severud of Bergenfield, age 91, died on October 7, 2009 at his home. He was born in Bogota, NJ and worked for over 30 yrs at United States Lines in lower Manhattan. His wife Dorothy predeceased him earlier this year. He is survived by his sister Louise Funke of Wyckoff, his sister in law Paula Mealy of Teaneck, nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved dog Corkie. Visitation was at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Saturday, October 10th followed by a private cremation. Donations can be made to Holy Name Hospice, 725 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ 07666.
