George E. Connor, 87, on August 25, 2010 of Dumont. Born in Tappan, NY, he was a Railroad Engineer for New York Central Railroad, Weehawken retiring in 1987. An Army Veteran of WWII, he was a member of St. John's Council #1345 K of C, Dumont and was a 4th Degree Knight. Beloved husband of Rosemary T. Connor. Devoted father of George M. and his wife Lisa Connor, Diane M. and her husband Dominick DiLella and Brian A. and his wife Catherine Connor.. Loving grandfather of Melissa, Michael, Elizabeth and Christina Connor. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Saturday at 8:30AM for the Funeral Mass at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont at 9:30AM. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
