George H. Grube III

Grube, George H. III, formerly of Bergenfield, died Thursday January 7, 2010 at The Villages, Fl. Mr. Grube retired as Deputy Chief of the Bergenfield Police Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and coach of Junior and High School football, leading the BHS team to a state championship two years in a row. He was predeceased by his wife, Diane, and mother and father, Gertrude Cahill Grube and George H. Grube II. He is survived by his son, George, daughters Janice and Michele, brother Edwin and his wife Pat, and five grandchildren. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Monday at 10AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
