Gustav W. Lindstrom

Lindstrom, Gustav W., 94, a long time resident of Bergenfield passed away on June 3, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 68 years Elizabeth "Betty" F. Lindstrom. Also survived by sons Charles David, wife Susan and Kenneth D., wife Sally. Grandchildren John, Kristen, Kara and Erik. Sisters Vivie Marcogliese, Cliffie Schramm (Harold), Gloria Paciello (Tony) and Brother Eric (Doris). Also survived by nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. He retired from Con Edison, NY after 47 years. Served 25 years as Treasurer of Yankee Stadium Ushers Union. He was with the US Army Air Force in WWII, serving with the 773rd Bomb Group. Gus was pleased to receive his 50 year Masonic pin (Arcturus Willard Sylvan Lodge), and enjoyed being a member of the Bergen County Historical Society. Gustav was a long time active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Teaneck. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Friday at 10:00AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the church at Church and Longfellow, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
