Harold Rupp

Harold Rupp, born in Norwood NJ, formerly a long-time resident of Bergenfield and most recently of Fair Lawn, passed away on October 20, 2018 at home. Beloved husband of the late Muriel. Loving father of Cheryl A. Lemberg (Douglas) and Bruce H. Rupp (Debbie). Dear brother of William Rupp Jr., Anne Smith, George Rupp, Charlotte Callahan, Gertrude Lawrence, and Valentine Rupp. Cherished grandfather of Daniel B., Janis, Douglas, and Christine, great grandfather of Trevor, Renee, and Qwynne and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Harold was a proud WWII Army Combat Infantry veteran (Staff Sergeant) serving with the 3rd Division in North Africa, Sicily and Italy from 1942 to 1945, and served stateside as an MP. Visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service at the funeral home on Friday at 10 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
