McCarey, Herbert "Jim" on Feb. 14, 2006 of Bradenton, Fl. formerly of Bergenfield, NJ. Beloved husband of Kathryn "Kathie" (nee Wetter) and the late Rosemary (nee Effinger). Devoted father of Jane Ruddock of Belmont, MA, Janet Frueh of Bergenfield and James W. of Corning, NY, dear grandfather of Bethany and Jeremy McCarey, Emily Ruddock and Claire Frueh, great grandfather of Taigon McCarey. Also survived by 3 step children and 7 step grandchildren. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ on Sat. at 9 AM for the Funeral Liturgy at RC Church of the Ascension, New Milford, NJ at 9:30 AM. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ. The family will receive friends Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
