Hoare, Hugh on April 2, 2007 of River Edge formerly of Bergenfield, NJ. He served as a Signalman in the British Navy during WW II, was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield and a member of St. John's Council #1345, K of C, Dumont, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Doris M. Hoare (nee Barnes). Devoted father of Eileen M. DeFalco, Jeanette M. DiCarlo, Michael and Hugh O'Hare. Loving grandfather of Jim DeFalco, Jennifer Maddox, Sharon Petzinger, Chris O'Hare, Joseph DiCarlo, Tom O'Hare, Stephanie O'Hare and Brian DiCarlo and great grandfather of Anthony DiCarlo and Connor Maddox. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home Inc. 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ on Wednesday at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield, NJ at 10 AM. The family will receive friends following the mass from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ on Thursday at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
