Isaac George Ilgner

Isaac George llgner was born on June 24, 1931 in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies to Doris McDonald and Albert Rudolf llgner and went home to be with the Lord in the late hours of the night of December 23, 2009. Isaac was the second of three children and attended Alpha Boys School with his brother Orville. Isaac, his sister Adeline, and his brother Orville were orphaned when his mother passed away in 1945. Isaac was an inspiration to all who knew him. He loved life and was admired by all. He married Ambrosia Pearl (nee Satchell) on September 12, 1956. Pearl and Isaac loved each other dearly and had 2 children Grace and Michael. Isaac George llgner was a printer and a proof-reader by profession and worked at Golding Printing Services on East Street in Kingston, Jamaica for approximately 35 years before migrating to the United States on December 22, 1994. Isaac was very active in the church where he held various leadership positions. Isaac served on the Board of Trustee and was the Head Usher at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Bergenfield, NJ where he resided with his wife Ambrosia "Pearl" Ilgner. He was lovingly referred to as Uncle IG by his nieces and nephews. IG is survived by his daughter Grace Cecelia Jones and his son Michael George Ilgner; brother Orville Ilgner and predeceased sister Adeline Knight; 9 grandchildren: Andrienne Morris-Skaar, Shevato Ilgner, Stacy-Ann Jones, Mark Ilgner, Michael llgner Jr., Allan Ilgner, Christina Jones, Robert Ilgner, and Charles (Lee) Mason; nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, and great-grandson, Maximillian Skaar and Rashawn, Jaheim, Brittany, & Ashley Mason.
