James J. Campbell, Sr., 83, on March 21, 2008 of Bergenfield. Born in Jersey City, he was a Real Estate Agent for Dick O'Connor Realty, Bergenfield. An Army Veteran of WW II, he was a Parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church, a member of St. John's Council #1345 K of C , Dumont, St. John's Golden Age Club and St. John's Holy Name Society. Beloved husband of Norma L. Campbell (nee Capini). Devoted father of James J., Jr. of Oradell, Edward of Basking Ridge and Peggy Davis of Paramus. Dear brother of Helen Olsen and Carolyn Maurer. Loving grandfather of Megan, Michael, Edward, Erin, Daniele and Sean. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 10:30AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist Church, Bergenfield at 11AM. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. St. John's K of C Service Monday 8PM.
