James P. Colon, 38, on February 22, 2008 of Ringwood formerly of Bergenfield. Born in Teaneck, he was a Police Officer for the Englewood Cliffs Police Dept., a member of PBA Local 45 and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Beloved husband of Adrienne Colon (nee Iurato). Devoted father of Zachary James Colon. Dear brother of Cathleen Zisa, Lisa Dacey, Debra Stallone and the late William Colon. Dear son in law of Deidre Yates and Russell Iurato. Dear brother in law of John Iurato, Timothy Dacey, Vito Stallone and Robert Zisa and sister in law Diana Colon. The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Tuesday at 9:30AM for the Funeral Liturgy at St. John the Evangelist Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Madonna Cemetery, Ft. Lee. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of James Colon can be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center c/o Susanne Hershowitz, Dept. of Pediatrics, Box 139, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10065.
