James J. Hayes, 92, on March 28, 2011 of Bergenfield. He was formerly a Senior V.P at Sea-Land Service, former President of United Seaman Services and an Air Force veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Devoted husband of 61 years to the late Margaret R. Hayes (nee Matern). Beloved father of James R. and his wife Karen Hayes, Kevin M. and his wife Madeline Hayes, Ronald J. and his wife Patricia Hayes and Maureen A. and her husband Victor Babec. Loving grandfather of Elizabeth Hayes, Victoria Wepler and Margaret Hayes. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Saturday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting Friday 4-8PM.
