He was a member of the Bergenfield Rescue Squad, an exempt fireman with Alert Fire Co. #1, the Bergenfield Ambulance Corp., Box 54 of Teaneck, Paterson/Elmwood Park Elks Lodge #60 BPOE, member of the Bergenfield Republican Club, former member of the Bergenfield Democratic Club, former coach and manager with Bergenfield Little League, former member of the Shade Tree Commission and the Board of Health and President of the Sunday Night Mixed Bowling League, Hackensack. Former husband of Cynthia M. Kneisler. Loving father of Brittany Marie and James P. Kneisler, II. Dear brother of Lynmarie and her husband James C. McGoldrick and Edward J. and his wife Cynthia K. Kneisler, II. Dear nephew of Eleanor Hubner. Loving uncle of Edward, Eric and Alex Kneisler and David and Andrew McGoldrick. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Monday at 9:30AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
