James C. "Bobby" Lacey, age 80 of Bergenfield passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 28, 2013. He was born on June 25, 1932 in New York. He was the loving husband of Peggy (nee Brandon). Father of James and his wife Barbara, John and Francine, daughter Nancy and son Christopher and the late Theresa. Loving grandchildren Brandon, Juliana, Christopher, Jonathan, Lauren and Leanne. Also surviving are sisters Elizabeth Barry and Carol Bergmann. Prior to retiring, James was employed by Bendix Aviation and Gould Electronics. James served our country in the Air Force and was stationed in Korea. He was a member of Church of the Ascension, New Milford and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His family gratefully appreciates and acknowledges the compassionate care he received from the Holy Name Hospice and Palliative Services. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield. All will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 AM for the Funeral Mass at Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9 AM. Cremation will be private.
