Janet G. Fitzgerald

Janet Fitzgerald (nee Campbell) 63 of Dumont, NJ, earned her angel wings on December 2, 2010. Janet was born on October 21, 1947 in Jersey City, grew up in North Bergen and moved to Dumont 31 years ago. Janet was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Dorothy (Korff) Campbell as well as her brother Edward. She is lovingly survived by her sisters Jean Frigerio and her husband Marco, her sister Ruth Aschoff and her sister-in-law Eileen Campbell. Dearest Aunt to Janine Aiello and her husband Mark, Laurie Moran and her husband John, Nancy Pardo and her husband Jose, Janice O'Connor and her husband Paul, Sharon Howard and her husband Patrick, Steven Aschoff and his wife Sylvia. She was loved by her 6 Great nieces and 6 Great nephews whom she cherished dearly. Janet loved her dogs, doing crafts and will always be remembered as an avid Yankees fan. Janet worked at American Overseas Book Company in Norwood for 13 years, prior to that she owned Adele's Clip Shoppe in Hawthorne and before that worked at Smith's Transport Trucking. She was loved dearly and will be missed by her family and friends, especially Barbara, Angela and Ginny. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9PM. Service on Monday at 10:30AM. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Janet's name to Englewood Hospital Hospice Program, 75 W Demarest Ave, Englewood, NJ 07631.
