Jean Kolb

Kolb, Jean (nee:Fredrickson), 80, of Bergenfield, died on February 20, 2008. Born in Providence, R.I. she was a Switch Board Operator for NY Telephone Co., New York, NY. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Tenafly, Contemporary Women's Club, Bergenfield, Ladies Auxiliary Post #4290 VFW, New Milford and VASA Order of America, New Milford. Jean achieved a very special goal in her life by graduating from Bergen Community College with her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Edmund Kolb. Dearest cousin of Marjorie Moses. Loving aunt of Neil Moses and his wife Tami. Cherished great aunt of Heather and Christopher. She is also survived by her step cousin's Trudy Koop and Dorothy Whole. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Saturday at 8:30 PM. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wildcats Special Olympics Program, PO Box 136, Waldwick, NJ 07463.
