Joan H. Ciampo

Joan Ciampo (nee Holst) on May 9, 2011 of New Milford. Born in Jersey City, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Bergen Pines County Hospital, Paramus retiring in 1984. A parishioner of Church of the Ascension, New Milford, she was a member of the choir for over 40 yrs. and a member of the Rosary Society. Devoted wife of the late Anthony S. Ciampo. Beloved mother of William Ciampo, Mary and her husband Ronald Ghilino, Joan and her husband Thomas Piersa and Susan and her husband Matthew Sammon. Loving grandmother of Andrew, John and Katherine Ghilino and Susan and Catherine Piersa. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Thursday at 8:30AM for the Funeral Mass at Church of the Ascension, New Milford at 9:30AM. Interment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
