Jo Ann Geist of Bergenfield peacefully passed away June 18, 2023. Jo Ann is survived by her parents, Joseph and Marie Petrellese, her brother Joseph Petrellese and his wife Christine, her brother Michael Petrellese and his wife Camile, and her son Kevin Geist and his wife Paige. Jo Ann’s kind heart, glowing smile, and sense of humor always lit up the room.

Jo Ann courageously battled MS for 32 years. She managed to live her life to the fullest with a smile on her face despite her adversities. She was a prominent member of the Rockland Jewish Community Center. Jo Ann was always the life of a party and touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with.

Memorial visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ on Saturday, June 24th from 10 AM to 2 PM. Service at 1:30 PM

In lieu of flowers the family asks to make a donation to the MS Society at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. The kind hearted doctors and nurses helped Jo Ann battle her illness and your donations will go a long way in helping other people like Jo Ann battle MS as well.
