John J. Buckley, 84, on January 1, 2011 of Manchester, MO formerly of Bergenfield. Born in Manhattan, NY, he was an Accountant for General Motors, New York, NY retiring in 1980 and a Navy Veteran of WW II. Devoted husband of the late Catherine Buckley. Beloved father of Kathleen Buckley of St. Louis, MO and Stephen Buckley of Bergenfield. Dear brother of Helena Bobnar of St. Louis, MO, Kay Crum of Warren, NJ and Nora Browne of Lakeland, FL. Loving grandfather of Carissa, Scott and Matthew Buckley and great grandfather of Brianna Buckley. All will gather at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave. Bergenfield on Saturday at 9AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Bergenfield at 10AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington. Visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity for animals.
