John P. Butler, 57, of Bergenfield, NJ passed away on May 9, 2019. He had been a Construction Worker for Palace Construction Co., in Pearl River, NY. Devoted husband of Jean M. Butler. Cherished son of the late John F. and Kathleen A. (nee Hayes) Butler. Beloved father of John R. Butler and his wife Sandra and Michael E. Butler. Loving grandfather of Isabella Butler. Dear brother of Catherine, Theresa, Patricia, the late Raymond and Debra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be visiting at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 5-9 PM. All will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist, R.C. Church, Bergenfield, NJ at 12 noon. A private cremation will follow..
