John was well known for giving tours of his precious "Garden" and bragging about his tulips and roses. Yet, the things that John nurtured the most were relationships with both friends and family. John touched many people in many different ways. His formula was part kindness, caring and compassion blended with a very very healthy dose of humor. It resulted in many loving friendships and relationships that sustained and fulfilled him. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. John was a devoted sports aficionado. He was at the top of his class as a "Notre Dame Subway Alum". He was an avid fan of the New York Football Giants, the Yanks, and the Knicks. In his youth, he coached PAL basketball and, until recently, officiated PAL basketball. He was a member of the Bergenfield Lions Club. He was a charter member of the old "Bergenfield Rec Center Gang". John is survived by his brother Robert, sister in law Bobbi Ann and niece Madeleine of Kingston, PA.
