John L. Lautenberger

Lautenberger, John L. on July 20, 2008 of Lodi formerly of Bergenfield. Before retiring in 1983, after 41 years of service, he was employed by Western Electric, Kearney, NJ. He was a member of IBEW Union Local # 1470 and was a plant rep for 25 years. He was a member of both the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Wekearney Boat Club. He summered with his family at Lake Winnepisaukee, NH. Beloved husband of Helen L. Lautenberger (nee Walker). Devoted father of Nancy L. Magdziasz, Karen L. Pow and Judy L. Lautenberger. Dear brother of Doris Rasmussen, the late Florence Hoberg, Honey Siter, Helen Lautenberger and Leonard Lautenberger. Loving grandfather of Scott, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Debra and six great grandchildren. Funeral service at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St. Ste. 301 Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
