John B. Maziot, 76, of Oneonta, NY formerly of Bergenfield, NJ died on December 31, 2009 in Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, NY. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a mechanic for the Bergenfield Dept. of Public Works. Predeceased by his wife Joyce M. Maziot, surviving are his daughters, Julie Painchaud and JoAnn Maziot, son John J. Maziot, sister Maria Amoroso, grandchildren Anthony Painchaud, Felicia, Malorie, Nicholas and John Maziot and great granddaughter Mercedez Sanchez.The funeral will leave Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 So. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, NJ on Thursday at 9:30 AM for the Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Bergenfield, NJ at 10 AM. Followed by entombment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
